  2.   A few notes on PC-INVENTORY+ v1.00
  3.  
  4.   Files on disk:
  5.        PCI.EXE    This is the main program.  To execute key PCI at the DOS
  6.                   prompt and press the ENTER key.
  7.  
  8.        PCI.CFG    This is a simple configure file to tell PCI where to find
  9.                   the data file STOCK.DAT and its index STOCK.IDX.
  10.  
  11.                   Example: C:\PCI\DATA\STOCK.DAT
  12.                            C:\PCI\DATA\STOCK.IDX
  13.            
  14.                   This example tells PCI to look for its files in the sub
  15.                   directory named DATA in directory PCI.  Refer to your DOS
  16.                   manual for help on directories.
  17.  
  18.                   If this file does not exist when PCI is executed the files
  19.                   are created in the root directory of the drive from which
  20.                   the program was executed.
  21.  
  22.        PCI.HLP    This is the HELP file for PCI.
  23.  
  24.        PCI.NDX    This is the index file for PCI.HLP
  25.  
  26.        ORDER.DOC  Ordering information.
  27.                   To print use:

  29.                   COPY ORDER.DOC PRN at the DOS prompt.

  31.        LICENSE.DOC License agreement.

  34.                    COPY LICENSE.DOC PRN at the DOS prompt.

  36.        READ.ME     This is the file you are reading.

  39.                    COPY READ.ME PRN at the DOS prompt.

  42.   Files not on disk:
  43.        STOCK.DAT  This is the inventory data file and is created the first
  44.                   time PCI is executed.
  45.  
  46.        STOCK.IDX  This is the index file for the inventory data file and
  47.                   is created the first time PCI is executed.

  50.   For help at any time after the program is loaded just press F1.
  51.   
  52.   If you have a mouse attached to your computer it can be used as the ENTER
  53.   key and ESC key.
  54.   Positioning the mouse cursor over a selection and clicking the left button
  55.   will function as the ENTER key.
  56.   Clicking the right button at any time during the selection process will
  57.   function as the ESC key.
